A group camp for scout, church or other youth organizations at Lower Bucks Lake in Plumas County in the Sierra Nevada.
The facilities at Camp Timberwolf include the following:
Kitchen/Mess Hall - large commercial stove with 6 burners, griddle, and 2 ovens; double sink indoors, outdoor sink, large 3 door and 2 door commercial refrigerators; freezers, ice machine, microwave, utensils, pots, pans, indoor seating for 30-40, large deck
3 cabins with bathrooms - 6 to 8 bunks per cabin with mattresses
Restrooms - Separate men's and women's restrooms with flush toilets.
Shower room - 4 shower stalls, 3 sinks, lockers, washing machine, large capacity water heater
Outdoors - 150 yards from a sandy beach, surrounded by tall pine trees, picnic tables under canopy, camp fire pit, horseshoe pit, parking, numerous tents sites, water hookup for recreational vehicle

Located on Lower Bucks Lake in the Plumas National Forest of the Sierra Nevada about 45 miles northeast of Oroville and 20 miles west of Quincy, California.
From Highway 70, take Oro Dam Road east, and follow Highway 162 east towards Quincy. After crossing Lake Oroville, the road narrows and becomes Route 119, the Oro-Quincy Highway. Turn north (left) on Bucklin Road at the Camp Timberwolf sign. Turn left onto dirt road at Lower Bucks Lake approximately 1/4 mile past Bucks Lake Dam.
Near north end of town, take Bucks Lake Road west. Just past Bucks Lake, turn north (right) on Bucklin Road at the Camp Timberwolf sign. Turn left onto dirt road at Lower Bucks Lake approximately 1/4 mile past Bucks Lake Dam.
Camp Timberwolf is rented on a weekly basis to medium to large groups. The camp week begins and ends at 12 noon on Saturdays. The camp is open from mid-June to after Labor Day. For reservations or rental information write to P.O. Box 134, Moraga, CA 94556 or call (510) 813-9653.

The camp is run by the Camp Timberwolf Improvement Committee, Inc., a non-profit corporation. All donations are fully tax deductible, please contact one of the committee members to make a donation.
The Camp Timberwolf Improvement Committee is comprised of men from Men's Bible Study at Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church, although the Camp is independent of the church. The current directors are:
