Driving Assignments

2008-2009

The driving assignments for the 2008-2009 campouts are shown in this spreadsheet. If you have trouble viewing the spreadsheet, click here to see the information in HTML form. In both cases use the tabs at the bottom to navigate to the correct campout.

Please post these dates on your calendar NOW! Note, however, that dates, times, and places for the campouts are subject to change, so please check back regularly.

The policy of this troop requires that ALL families share in the driving assignments. You may "trade" assignments with another family; however, you must make the switch yourself and you must notify me (Edward Thomas) of your "trade" as soon as possible (even if it is only from Saturday to Sunday or vice versa). This way I can be sure we have enough seat belts for all scouts!

When driving, please bring your largest car. Maps will be handed out at the troop meeting before each campout; be sure to ask your scout for your copy. I will always have extra copies on Saturday morning. Most of the maps are also posted on our Troop 212 web site on the Maps page.

Keep in mind that we usually meet at the Hut early Saturday morning (around 7:30 am), and return Sunday morning (arriving for pick-up at the campsite promptly at 11:00 am), however, the exact times may vary from one campout to another. Sunday morning drivers are expected to take scouts directly to their homes after the campout. If you have any questions, please give me a call (631-7962).
